Export/import volumes of the ports in the Philippines had increased in the last 8 years. Ports of Manila, Cebu and Batangas have high import volumes while ports of Davao and Ilo-ilo have high export volumes. As a result, higher traffic had been determined on these ports. To address this issue, a proposed port in Minglanilla is currently being considered so as to cater the services and to help diffuse the existing port traffics in the Philippines. PTMS is involved with the feasibility study, market study, and operations logistics of this project.
The Manila Bay-Pasig/Marikina River-Laguna Lake (MAPALLA) Ferry System Project is expected to play a crucial part in providing an alternative means of public transport, strengthen inland waterway links to support passenger movement and in the process also encourage tourism potential in Metropolitan Manila. PTMS provides additional research and market studies for this particular project.

Supervision of Port Weather Station for a span of three months. Honeywell WeatherTime Professional Weather Station is a portable wireless weather station with indoor/ outdoor thermometer & humidity gauge, barometer, anemometer, rainfall & UV level gauge, weather alarms, forecaster, moon phase complete with PC Software, remote & dual self-setting alarm clock. This particular set of instruments was used to determine preliminary data on the proposed Minglanilla Port including temperature, pressure, humidity, rain gauge, UV light, wind speed and direction.
CTL Shipping is planning to engage in tug and boat operations particularly catering bulk cargoes in the Manila Bay area. PTMS is doing feasibility and market studies to help determine if this particular venture is technically feasible.
